RE:Where Is The Best Place For The Metal, To Be Found?Just a footnote to my most recent conjecture.
Assuming that a tectonic event did occur, displacing all three deep MT conductors at the same time, then it might be logical to also assume that such a significant event might have cut off the volcanic pipe for some considerable time with some very large earthen plug which created the VMS time horizon event that separated at least two different VMS stringer feeder zones.
Sediments in the drill core do prove that such a time horizon does exist!
But a massive deep underground heat source does need to vent!
So now we know that other VMS deposits most likely also exist nearby the main deposit.
Their distance away would be best determined by the size of the original deep magma chamber that created the original VMS deposit whose venting was so prematurely interrupted!
So we now we know why additional larger scale VMS deposits will also be found nearby! And they will be of a similar age as the Billington deposit or the narrow high grade stringer plates found slightly below it!
This theory makes much sense to me!
Many such VMS stringer deposits on the Marshall Lake property have already been historically defined by earlier drilling.
And these local stringer deposits that have only been shallowly drilled!
They need to be drilled much deeper!
Other locations have never been drilled, only rock sampled at surface!
So much for my footnote!
