RE:Rekor (FYI)I wouldn't attach much significance to this. MS2 deals directly with state traffic authorities--and this is not some kind of exclusive arrangement with Rekor.
Note that MS2 reported this "deal" in their website blog and NOT in "news."
If Quarterhill gets a deal collecting data in some state . . . I don't see how or why MS2 can't play their usual role in interpreting data that Quarterhill might collect.
So does this give Rekor some competitive advantage? I doubt it.
