The reality is obviously more nuanced than that... How can anyone not think that ONCY mgt has dithered, misdirected and made numerous misteps along the way... Where IS that Car-T deal???
Both Matt and Brad before him have over promised and underdelivered on every trial to date... The mBC IND-213 trial started in 2012... YES, 12 years ago... and it will be 13 years from the start of that trial before a Phase III will ever be running...
think that this will take 2-3 years to run, then 10 months for agency assessment, and you are then looking at approval by 2028-9.
GO back an listen to some of Matt's fireside chats about how they would be filing by 2023... yah right... so this isn't a bashing position but one of concern..
I believe in Pela, and used to have utmost faith in ONCY... but 20 years of delay, BS and lies by management have me holding at a loss... given the time I've been invested here, I will continue to hold... the ONLY inflection point I see is when they announce a partner to either buy them out, or pay for the 2 phase IIIs... and a partner will only engage if it's to enhance their own agent, i.e. a CPI, meaning that Bracelet-1 was a failure... ONCY are pratcially back where they were with mBC back in 2018, or is it 17.
Is it bashing to question the key patent expiring in 2027..?? or to ponder who's gonna pay for Phase III, or why senior leadership disappear from the company without let or hindrance... we all like to read positive posts on a stock we own, and hate those who question.... it's an affront to our investing wisdom right... But it's also smart to ask the questions that are uncomfortable... and invest in companies like this with no expectation of making any returns... 26 years and worth less than 100 million, whilst 10 year old CRSPR has multiple products, and is worth billions... time will tell... roll on the Type C meeting notes..!.
