It is stupid. Keep in mind management looks kind of stupid too for believing Canada would approve the transaction, or at least uninformed. That and now take all Chinese investmemt off the table and the shine is dulled. The smartest move they and all Canadian miners with mines in other countries should be doing is redomiciling out of Canada immediately. The process should have already been started in this case.

There is no need to delist from the TSX. Just move head office out of Canada. Look at Centamin Egypt (CEE), they've been domiciled in the Island of Jersey for years and are dually listed on the TSX and London Stock exchange. No idea why any mininig company in their right mind would have a head office in Canada.
