RE:RE:RE:RE:Why?
The MOU was to confirm that Canada would look favorably on a hydrogen project in NL powered by wind turbines (as proposed by the guys who were travelling with Schulz)....you seem to think that there's something amiss because it's been two years and there's no concrete in the ground yet.
Heck, LNG Canada, lead by Shell, took SEVEN YEARS to arrive at an FID and then it took another seven years of construction to build the plant and pipeline!!! 2 years is NOTHING in that world.
I'm not sure where the investors who travelled with Schulz are at in their decision making process.
I know there is already a NIMBY movement in NL that object to the windfarm that was part of the plan.
NONE of all that has anything to do with Trudeau....there has not even been a proposal put forward to consider/evaluate yet. The ball is in the investors court and so far we've seen nothing.
Yes, the shaw/rogers took a long time. Canadians keep whining about high cell phone costs and lack of competition....it took a long time to get the parties to agree to conditions that in the regulator's mind would mitigate the real prospect of less choice and even higher prices. IMO that was just the government doing it's job.
