RE:Proxied Valuation of MAE processing mills

RE:Proxied Valuation of MAE processing mills

Interesting valuation Nozzpack. For the old posters that remember me I was deep into Anaconda and New Island for many years and even after exiting have kept an eye on the proceedings.

Basically MAE got the whole land package, deep water port and mill for a song. Was quite amazed SGNL let it go so cheap. Mind you if they hang on to those 24 million shares they could end up with a nice gain even after the tax implications.

Looking at MAE, it definitely looks very undervalued (a lot going for it) but it also illustrates how dire these markets are at the moment. Financing (which MAE doesn't have to worry about) is extremely difficult for juniors these days and most share prices remain at bargain basement prices. I thought with the increase in PM prices these markets would turn around but no such luck. Makes one wonder if they ever will !

I wish you the best with MAE and may take a nibble here and there. No interest in SGNL in its current form, Goldboro a long way off from any sort of mine. Their holdings of this stock are their only saving grace. Yes, in a normal market MAE would be 30 cents plus. Hopefully normality will return.
