Just to add, completely agree with your Federal reserve synopsis. How Jerome Powell has kept his job is totally beyond me, but birds of a feather do stick together. I see another representative is pushing to do away with them, possibly a bill in the offering to dissemble the Feds. From memory a poll conducted said 60% of Americans agreed it was time to abolish this institution.

Replace it with what ? Hopefully some form of AI, that views all data impartially, works with the controller of currencies and monitors all financial institutions to ensure stability and that any liquidity risks are mitigated. And will move rates and change asset balances when needed, not wait until the tide has changed when it's too late. It's not an impossible task for a super computer to run, with fail safes of course.

Human error has become to costly for countries and many central bankers from the USA, Canada, and the UK, continue to make the same mistakes over and over.

On we go.
