RHC: Permitting Initiated for Near-Term Project Controlling more than a million acres of prospective helium lands in Western Canada, Royal Helium Ltd. (Ticker: RHC.v or RHCCF for US investors) is a frontrunner in Canadian helium production and exploration, with its Steveville project in Southeastern Alberta producing 99.999% pure helium.
RHC also controls several near-term projects, and has a development schedule for steady progress and expansion, expected to have 39 wells by 2030.
RHC has identified multiple drill targets at its 40 Mile Project, spanning Devonian and Cambrian horizons, and plans to delve into the Precambrian crystalline basement.
With this, the company recently began licensing and permitting for an helium exploratory well at 40 Mile.
Historical flow and composition tests at the 7,000-acre 40 Mile Project showed excellent flow and grade, notably, more than double that of Steveville.
Results from the project's previous owner suggest that 40 Mile rivals some of the most significant Cambrian helium discoveries in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Montana.
RHC wants to retest it and is optimistic about its production potential.
