Toyota recently announced a technological breakthrough that will allow them to bring solid-state batteries to market as early as 2027 or 2028.
These batteries are expected to provide EVs with an impressive 745 miles of range—significantly greater than any gas-powered car today.
Even more remarkable, the charging time for Toyota’s solid-state batteries is projected to be just 10 minutes 2.
Eventually, Toyota aims to produce vehicles with a whopping 932-mile range and less than 10-minute charging times. If you get 932 miles on a charge most people would only charge their EV once every 4-6 weeks
