RE:Nvidia will be splitting it stock vs Tilray selling stock
Tradinghands wrote: Everyone is whining that Tilray will be selling shares to fund its expansion ending up with more shares for a bigger company but then you have Nvidia wanting to do a stock split so currently they have 2.5 Billion shares so that could top out at 5 Billion shares and in this case analyst think that its great news so that retailers could buy in, What BS. I hope that all the moody holders of Tilray sell only to see this skyrocket when the rubber stamp hits the paper and then shorts will be squeezed for shorting a stock at lowest prices. I'm not comparing Tilray to Nvidia by any means but its a mind twist what people believe. I see big thing happening for Tilray and maybe the DEA will just drop marijuana off all scheduling like Canada woundn't that shock the markets and I'll bet you that once the firms sell shares to eachother that the same firms will be pushing the share prices higher unless you believe that they'll be buying a falling stock to lose. Thats my rant.

Depending on who they buyout TLRY could end up with more products, more production, new international deals and of course access to the US market (as they noted).

Whoever it is they will contribute new assets, maybe some cash and of course we need to look at debt etc.

I trust that TLRY management will not be going after just any company, they will be looking to add in order to benefit the company and its shareholders going into the future.  This doesn't mean the day following the deal that the shareprice will go lunar but they will be expecting that the move is the best thing for the interest of the company and it's investors.

What I find amusing in the forum of late is that no one has a better guess at which company they are considering outside of Medmen.

If you can narrow down the most likely companies then you can research those and (maybe) know more about that company prior to it being made public knowledge.

Best of luck to all
