RE:RE:RE:RE:E-mail from Departmental Secretary
Permission according to the Environmental Code A business that extracts ore or minerals is often referred to as a mine or mining operation. For the extraction of concession minerals according to the Minerals Act, both a processing concession according to the Minerals Act and a permit according to the Environmental Code are required. Although the application for a processing concession is usually made before the application for a permit under the Environmental Code, it is possible to first apply for a permit under the Environmental Code or to make both applications in parallel. The environmental review ordinance (2013:251) shows which activities are subject to a permit according to the Environmental Code, as well as which body examines the application for a permit. The land and environmental courts examine applications for permits for mining operations. The environmental review delegation at the county administrations examines the application for a permit for trial mining. Most people expects the Swedish Government will propose a new law for mining including Uranium. The law will pass. Then it will be easier to permitt new mines and rare earth metals, Uranium is essential for the state.... At the moment they take every opportunity to mention how important nuclear is for the climate change. They also speaks how they can make it easier for companies in thear contact with different instances. They question is not if DMX will get approval for mining, it is when it will happen. Yes I am Swede
