RE:RE:RE:Ucore has a part to playDear Pip,
Either you have not read the last article posted or you are posting a wild idea just to get a get a response. To answer your question DOD has a problem, lack of elements needed. DOD is doing what it has always done, throw money at the problem.
From Pat's video at the first of the year we have a idea of what, moneywise, is in the DOD's pipeline for Ucore. 10 million from the second half of the testing contract, with another 20 to 40 million in the next stage of grants. We have the OEMs to kick in 20 to 45 million once DOD has put money up. No need to get ahead of DOD, until they know how much DOD is kicking in.
As for short term. You think that another RO or PP is coming to cover until DOD money steps up. Maybe not. The testing contract is 4 million, but Ucore did not buy the mixed REE sample. That came from DOD. So the only cost to Ucore is the cost of the acids and the time of the guys running the Demo plant. I don't see Ucore doing the testing for free. Not if it is DOD paying for the testing. So they would have a profit.
As for the share price. Just about everybody is in wait and see mode, with just a few people increasing there share count and the traders that were looking for a pop getting out. No, Pip, our debate has convinced most people to stand pat until they see which way DOD is going.
My dream is that Ucore does the big funding PR. After trading stops for the day on 3July. That way US investors get a big birthday present for the 4th of July.
