RE:RE:RE:Useful link for preferred sharesThanks luscar99, that article provides an excellent explanation for the swoon in rate resets a year ago.  I did not understand the underlying cause of the fire sale at the time ... I was too busy shopping!

During such sales I am always partial to lower-priced names, those trading in the $9-$14 range.  These have the potential for a long stretch of gains should rate resets come back into favour.  Shares trading closer to $20 often seem juicier, but I eschew them as their upside is capped at $25.

ENB.PF.G was my favourite a year ago, and has since bounced from a $13.xx to a $17.xx handle, with plenty of room to run.

AX.PR.E was another top pick at $16 ... a little pricier than I like, but with a strong catalyst (anticipated buybacks).
