It is a good point about the intellectual property in all of this. Dr. MacFarland's science is pretty amazing and most of the broader industry drug RandD is stuck on immunotherapy. My understanding is that TLT owns right to far more than just ruvidar. There are better compounds in the portfolio for the future.
One reason TLT needs to do better is to get that science out there.
I believe RDW is not a great CEO but he is motivated. This is his life legacy as far as making a difference in medicine and cancer therapy. Plus he owns much of the shares. The fact that he is motivated and yet here we are may speak to the fact that he is out of his depth with a biotech startup. If a different, well connected CEO were to do the round of startup conferences and present this kind of data they would get CGON levels of cash thrown at them.
