Hai Long 2

Go big, or go home! The Hai Long team has completed the foundation installation for the Hai Long 2 Wind Farm offshore substation marking yet another milestone in the project’s journey. The foundation weighed a total of 3,414 tonnes, breaking the record for the heaviest single lift jacket ever placed in Taiwan waters and the heaviest-lifting operation executed since the official launch of the Green Jade.

Thank you to all partners, including CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering, for their collective efforts in reaching this milestone.

Over the weekend our Hai Long project reached a major milestone – the completion of the topside installation for the Hai Long 2 Wind Farm offshore substation. Measuring 52 metres in length, 38 metres in width, 32 metres in height and weighing more than 2,800 tonnes, the OSS sits on top of the foundation installed at the beginning of the month, and was executed by the Taiwanese-built vessel, The Green Jade.
