RE:RoadCantex Mine has a Class 3 Quartz Mining Licence that would allow them to build a short new road of no longer than 15 km and 3 meters wide. No upgrade on existing access road permitted. However, the subject tote road is around 150 km from Mayo, and would require FNNND blessing, environmental report, water permit, etc , and Quartz Class 4 Licence application. Everyone else is now waiting for the Beaver River Land Plan stuck forever in purgatory. Both Atac and Metallic were rejected by the Yukon Supreme Court for an access road through the Beaver lands that are the lungs and bread basket of the First Nation people for thousands of years.
