Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Oil alliance OPEC+ extends collective crude production cuts Lol, it's odd that supposed Baytex investors always counter positive developments with a negative bogeyman just as a talking point. Case in point, wildfires. Sure, mother nature can certainly bring her fury into any jurisdiction to upset the cart so to speak and that was the case in recent times when some  shut-ins did take place for Baytex acreage due to wildfire but it really didn't amount to much in the big picture for Baytex.

All things considered, with the company currently in the best position ever in production capability and all other fundamentals stacking up in the positive category, OPEC plus extending the ride through 2025 and Biden out of bullets to damage the market supply/demand balance for the most part ........ a shut in due to wildfire would have to be of far far greater extent than the last time for it to derail the upward trajectory of the stock through 24.

Wildfire is now the bogeyman to counter the postive OPEC plus development ..... lol .... go figure Baytex investors.
