Lock on and deliver sun's radiated energy ( alpha, beta ) in which graphite absorbs.
Sponge the electrons -----> deliver to grid or battery banks.
Now scale it... silos everywhere.
Minimal footprint unlike solar farms or wind farms.

Graphite contains delocalised electrons (free electrons). These electrons can move through the graphite, carrying charge from place to place and allowing graphite to conduct electricity.
Incoming ultraviolet, visible, and a limited portion of infrared energy (together sometimes called "shortwave radiation") from the Sun drive the Earth's climate system. Some of this incoming radiation is reflected off clouds, some is absorbed by the atmosphere, and some passes through to the Earth's surface.
