Clues for Pip, The Mystery that is Ucore Dear Pip,
Let me give you some clues about me.
Clue 1: My memory for details has always been bad. I remember the gist of what happen and where to find the details if I need them. You want details, you see my wife. The woman has a mind like a steel trap for details.
Clue 2: When I sleep everything goes low. Heartbeat, blod pressure, breathing to the point hospitals, nurses and doctors wake me up to check that I am okay. One doctor said that when I sleep deep that it was like I was hibernating. So I guess that I was a bear in a past life.
Clue 3: I find ancient engineering mysteries fascinating. Example: How a retired guy in WI can move, raise, and build a model of Stonehenge out of 20 ton block of concrete; How the Moai statues were walked from quarry to resting place; How a 2 to 5 ton block was moved quickly and easily to the top of a pyramid; How the Romans moved a 200 ton block of stone for the foundation stones of the temple of Jupiter in Lebanon or How Stan Myers water car worked.
The Mystery that is Ucore Rare Metals
As you and I have figured out Ucore should not exist. It should have died back in the teens. Killed by the chinese. When they dumped large amounts of REEs on the world markets to lower prices to the point that no junior miner had a chance to make any money mining REEs. Instead they when looking for a way to beat the chinese at there own game, separation. They looked at one that was at lab scale and would take to much money to develop. Then they looked at MRT and the mad scientist that owned that tech. Yes, they spend to much time, money and effort on MRT. It almost killed Ucore again. Did they do things for the company to survive that drove you nuts. Oh yes. Things like a 1 for 10 reverse stock split and stock sales. But they did survived. They learned too. The next tech they bought outright from the start. That would be RSX. They were working to build the Demo plant. Then the indepenance testing happened. Then it was change all plans overnight. Remember that, Pip. With everybody asking, why? We went from a 4 REEs demo plant to all of the REEs and the battery metals plus a SX circuit. Why did Ucore change? To this day Mark will not answer that question. They when from a greeen site in Alaska to a brown site in LA. Again why? Now you have said that I make excuses for Ucore. That was not my intend. I was trying to explain why or what I thought was why Ucore did what it did. But you were not interested in why. All we got from you was ranting and raving about stock sales and how any delay or change would lead to a stock sale. In the mean time, Ucore has build a Demo plant, got a testing contract from both the US and Canadain governments, secured a brown site for a commerial plant in LA with grants and tax cuts. You are saying that the delay finishing the DOD contract will lead to a big stock sale again. That seem to be the only thing you can say. My answer to why the delay. To pull samples for the five OEM that Ucore is talking to. Why would DOD go along with this? My answer is because at this point in time, Ucore is the only game in town for the separation of HEAVY REEs outside of China. Will that change in the furture. More than likely, but how I have not got a clue.
Here is my question for you. Why are you still here? If it had been any other company but Ucore you would have sold out and moved on. Without a second thought, but you don't. You say that Ucore is only a small part of your protfolio but you watch this board like a hawk. You post an anwered any of my posts very quickly. Even if the post was done late at night west coast time. Now could it possible be that you see what most of us see that own Ucore. When Ucore makes it. Then Ucore would be a choke point stock. The company that DOD and canadain governments come to for Heavy REEs. That car companies come to. That tech companies come to. All needing the REEs that all of them need to make the products that they make.
