I've always agreed there exist a potential liability in employing Chlorine derivative gas during that particular anode component material process manufacturing step; it's previously been a concern which, from a current risk to employee safety standpoint, has apparently been more than sufficiently mitigated.
Certainly there are other proprietary anode component material process manufacturing methods which specifically do not employ Chlorine derivative gas and do not require the use of Atomic Layer Deposition technologies, etc.
As an example,we need only refer to the proprietary anode component process manufacturing methods employed by NanoXplore representatives when mass industrial scale manufacturing NanoXplore proprietary "Graphene BlackTM" powder enhanced anode component materials and also the industry leading volumetric energy density performance (1,150 Wh/L) "SiGTM" anode additive material.
