Royal Helium Ltd. V.RHC.WT.A

Primary Symbol: V.RHC Alternate Symbol(s):  RHCCF | V.RHC.WT.B

Royal Helium Ltd. is a Canada-based company, with a primary focus on the production and development of helium and associated gases and is currently producing helium from its Steveville project in Southern Alberta. Its helium reservoir at Steveville is carried primarily with nitrogen. Nitrogen is not a greenhouse gas (GHG) and therefore have a low GHG footprint when compared to plants in other jurisdictions that rely on large scale natural gas production for helium extraction.

RHC's Response to Helium Demand: Advancements & Achievements

RHC's Response to Helium Demand: Advancements & Achievements

Helium finds applications across diverse industries including welding, diving, aerospace, nuclear power, and electronics manufacturing. However, the production of helium encounters hurdles stemming from its limited availability and diminishing reservoirs, resulting in a supply shortage. While the United States has historically been a major producer, its once-plentiful helium reserves have diminished.

Addressing these helium supply challenges, Royal Helium Ltd. (Ticker: RHC.v or RHCCF for US investors), a Canadian company specializing in helium production, infrastructure, and exploration, has made significant advancements in its helium plant operations and exploration endeavors.

With a broad presence encompassing potential helium permits and leases in southern Saskatchewan and southeastern Alberta, RHC aims to emerge as a leading producer of this vital non-renewable resource in North America.

Recent developments at RHC's Steveville helium purification facility near Brooks, Alberta, signify notable progress. RHC achieved the successful shipment of its 10th and 11th purified helium trailers from the facility.

The Steveville plant continues to enhance its operational capacity, demonstrating growth in throughput rate and consistent run-time performance. Moreover, the production zones within the reservoir have met or exceeded expected helium concentrations.

In the past three weeks alone, the facility has maintained stable production at 50% of its nameplate capacity, with occasional increases reaching up to 75%. This stable production rate translates to approximately four trailers of purified helium per month, marking a 100% increase from previous levels. Upon reaching full operational capacity, the plant anticipates producing between seven and eight trailers of purified helium monthly.
