According to the flowsheets on the corp presentation, the pilot test work will of:
Mine Site Processing:
-crushing&grinding + two stage floatation.
AB Site Processing:
- leaching, thickening (unclear if this is a CCD circuit or just several independent thickeners), solvent extraction, followed by smelting (calciner?).
Any ideas if this testwork is purely lab scale, or does SGS have the ability to run a pilot plant? Have never dealt with SGS, only SRC. Leaching and Thickening is straightforward in a lab setting, ie add acid for leaching, add floc for thickening. SX is a bit more nuanced depending on the number of stages and diluent used. Assume SGS runs all the assays in house.
If we were doing this at my place of work the testwork would be done in a week or two, although the results and analysis + report compilation would be a couple more weeks. I would be surprised if the work isn't done already. Either way we should see results soon!
