WATER - THE MISSING CLUE --------> ENERGY CRISIS Yukon Droughts = affects hydrodams ----> no electricity
BC going into 4 yr drought - BC prides itself on hydrodams ------> electricity
Alberta -----> current stage 4 water restriction ----> BC system feeds Bow River
Manitoba Lake low water levels ------ yes, they depend on hydrodams and water from Ab
Quebec Hydrodams.... Concern of low water levels -----> Quebec is huge on hydrodams
Quebec article and video discussing low water levels and the effect on, hydrodams.
Video - small player video - politicians discuss the advent of, low water levels and
its affect on, hydrodams.
Their solution ?
Make more dams ???
Solar in Canadian winters ??? Read up on ( Yukon's solar pilot program ( disaster )
That would be the last place i'd spend money if droughts are on the horizon.
Wasted money... new hydrodams would have same issues as, older hydrodams.
Water issues has also affected
Canada’s biggest electricity producer on Wednesday reported that 2023 net income dropped 28 per cent to $3.29 billion. It also cut the dividend it pays to its sole shareholder, the Quebec government, by 26 per cent to $2.5 billion — which is likely to affect provincial finances at a time when the economy is slowing.

Wrote a post few weeks ago titled, Invisible Elephant.
A post that discussed how many jr exploration companies " might be " seeking
uranium while sporting another critical mineral, or under the guise of, REE's.
REE's deposits are reknown for, l
A large amount of uranium is in rare earth deposits, and may be extracted as a by-product. Higher uranium prices and geopolitical developments would enhance the economic potential for recovering these. Rare earths are essential for many modern technologies.

No water
No hydrodams
No electricity
Hence - the importance of,
graphite enrichment using solar lasers ( long term storage )
graphite shielding for nuclear plants
There are currently 440 nuclear plant's worldwide.
Another 60 in the works... 2024.
graphite is the go to for, nuclear plants.
Quebec... needs to rethink their energy policies.
Nuclear has lasting energy solutions.
Which begs...
Has graphite bottomed out because those who need it...
want it for cheap...? Know it's incredibly valued ?
I'm beginning to think, so.
Graphite is just as important as uranium.
Each are neded for, nuclear energy.
In my opinion...
Canada is far too liberal with our critical resources.
Europe and USA are having a hay day.
Throw in, fancy chess moves making one spin, dizzy...
( switching up diff minerals of importsnce )
playing with spot prices, stocks...
And before one can blink - resources are scooped up.
Contingency energy plans along with water resources are moving
at snails pace vs actions that resolve.
Countries are scrambling to secure what they can.
Yet... is Canada ensuring it's own critical resources to function day to day infastructure ?
Or... selling it off through the conduit of exchanges ------> dirt cheap ?
Hmmm
Cheers...
