RE:SOLUTION ?I am fully convinced nuclear energy is the only way forward. Wind and solar just wont do it and the cost in terms of $ and the amount of land needed as well as base load generation still needed sorry folks time to smell the coffee.
As for drought. While we have isolated areas of limited water most of Canada has an abundance of water. Dont paint the whole country with the same brush. Water management and river level management has become political catering to the woke, the mislead, the ill informed and self serving governments. The Ottawa River floods of 2017 and 2019 were man made as an example. When you have a community of say 2000 people on a municipal well and 30 years later the community has grown to 10000 or more while the same old well is now drying up and we think oh it's a drought, its climate change we need to restrict water use across the province. That my friends is the state of intelligence we have in public office. Build where the water is not where it isn't.
