He's not a miner and sadly it shows through all too clearly. Unlike CNQ, III doesnt operate at scale. Being small it also doesn't show any tactical skills. Tailings failure could have happened to any owner but decisions such as not hedging when CU is above 5.20 USD and expenses from RC are coming at the company in a predictable manner is simply dumb. Going private makes sense, selling to NEM makes sense and yet the company stumbles along and he gets 12% on the debt we needed - which is really working capital. The CEO clearly is not a leader and the CFO owns next to no stock. All quite weird - as Tolstoy said about families so it goes with companies: All the good ones are good for the same reasons, the bad ones myriad...... sip sip.....
