Over the next several months One World Lithium’s (OWL) progress will set a new benchmark
for extracting lithium carbonate from brine and to store carbon dioxide underground. The
Lithium Industry and the Investment Community will participate. Several investment highlights
are:
• The successful proof of concept validated the commercial benefits of
Lithium Carbonation Extraction technology;
• The Lithium Carbonation Technology is a Direct Lithium Extraction (“DLE”)
process and it will be a Lithium Industry game changer;
• OWL’s partnership with the US Department of Energy’s (“DOE”) National
Energy National Technology Laboratory for the DOE’s Selective
Lithium Recovery as a Lithium Carbonate from natural brine;
• Lithium Carbonate’s price is forecast to rise 20% by 2030 and the
demand is forecast to rise by 500% by 2030.
Proof of Concept Testing Results
The advanced Carbonation Extraction Technology “proof of concept program” validated the
technology’s ability to extract lithium carbonate from brine. The results were better than
expected. Some of the results include:
• Simultaneous extraction and lithium carbonate
precipitation from a brine;
• Process time of approximately nine minutes;
• Direct production of lithium carbonates at very low
concentrations;
• Selective formation of lithium carbonate;
• No requirement for fresh water; and
• Proof that OWL’s technology will store carbon
dioxide
The results indicate the lithium carbonation technology could be a low-cost extraction
technology.

The Lithium Carbonation Technology
i) An advanced system to inject carbon dioxide into a brine that simultaneously generates
lithium carbonate;
ii) A Direct Lithium Extraction process;
iii) The lithium carbonation process can extract lithium carbonate as
low as 200 parts per million lithium in a brine, the Lithium Carbonation
process is the only one step process instead of up to a 4-step process.
The energy savings can result in a low-cost extraction of Lithium
Carbonate;
iv) It does not use fresh water;
v) The technology can extract lithium carbonate at room temperature;
vi) It does not require pressure; and
vii) The Lithium Carbonation Technology can extract lithium carbonate from a continuously
flowing slurry.
