Surprise, surprise - Quebec Hydro is into.... battery technology. + power grids etc....

Patrick - i agree.
Which is why i've compiled several other ( tech fields ) for purposing graphite.
Thankfully, there are several sectors to purpose graphite.
Junior would have to shift lanes.
IDEAS

GREEN BATTERY - FOCUS  -  MASON
Go figure.... 3 amigos all grouped together. (  tease.)
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53787548124_7528067179_z.jpg

GEM's 43 101 does not have a full suite assay of, Berkwood.
Next best ?  I'll use Mason's since they're deposits are side by side.
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53787450498_62fd3aba51_c.jpg

Nouveau got a steal of a deal.
Mason's deposit has, iron*, aluminum*, silica, sulpher*, potassium, phosphate, V, Ti
Several of these have higher grades = economic.

Iron - $125 / t
Sulphur - $100 / t
Silicon Carbide - $550 - $950 / t
Aluminum Carbide - $4200 / t

BERKWOOD DEPOSIT  ( minerals that were measured )

Nice percentages
Graphite ( includes carbon % )
Sulphur
Silicon dioxide
Iron

MY THOUGHTS ?
Graphite juniors have pissed away valuble years
sizing
meshing
sphering

if one runs with large or jumbo rest of deposit is ignorged.
Juniors drank the coolaide.
That's not investor friendly.

What's Better ?
Separating each economic mineral.
Iron credit + Sulphur could most likely near carry project.

Mulch Mill separate the carbon
heat in special zero O2 furnace = Activated Carbon
= $2000 / t  coconut  ( cheap kind )
= $6000 / t ( 2023 ) deposit metalloid source - good stuuf )

Mason's ( 43 101 ) report
able to extract near 100% carbon - Berkwood is beside mason ( similar geology )

IMAGINE ?  ( hmmm )
If GEM pulled carbon converted to Acivated Carbon ?  ( easy )
They'd then have something pure + valued.

That can then be used for numerous products.
Like what ?
Acarbon + Silicon = chips
Acarbon + Aluminum = batteries, chips, and much more.
Acarbon + Aluminum + Silcon jacket = chips, etc...
Acarbon = graphene, water filtration etc

Play with graphite lump chunks ?
Or... separate each and reformulate to exacting precison % ?

Wait for Nouveau ?
Play 2 yr wait on US tarrifs, allows usa 2 yr buffer to scoop, stockpile Si, Cg ?
Or... tap Quebec Hydro's shoulder, bigger, $$, and whis into tech energies ?

GEM'S  DEPOSIT
Did you know Nouveau used a 1.78% cut off - yup
https://nmg.com/nouveau-monde-announces-updated-resource-estimate-and-increases-combined-measured-indicated-resources-by-25-to-120-3-mt-4-26-cg/

GEM has over 19 million tonnes waste
Grade pit 6 - 16.79 %
Cut off - 6.68 %

How much more graphite t would be tacked on if gem also used 1.78% cut off like NOU ?
I'd like to see how Berkwood was block modelled.
Was the innterpolation and grade data forgiving or restrictive ?
Imagine if other minerals were included into block model as credits  =  $$$

Map in link above.
west river / creek fringing berkwood - vegation, rocks are brighter green
= river falt
= K, Ph  ( smart explorer know what associates with this )

Lots to digest.

Cheers...

Yes Wango, my post gives credence to your research. Find other avenues and uses for the graphite. It does not have to be one or the other. Gracias. Grinnn.
