Before doing so, maybe you should go, a few times, see a movie at Cineplex.
We went a few times on the island of Montreal and around Montreal, Saturday night and half-price Tuesday. It was scarily quiet in there, almost like a ghost town.
Half-price Tuesday used to be packed.
I wonder what is the situation in others big Canadian cities . Let me know.
Also Guzzo Cinemas were in the news lately. Guzzo Marche Central in Montreal is always late to pay the rent and the owners of the shopping mall started an eviction process.
Guzzo's president said that his theaters in the suburbs are doing fine but it's more difficult for the ones in Montreal.
I don't have a position on Cineplex. I just have that stock in my watchlist.
