regarding the discussions blaming Biden or dems for various things?
First a reality check.
infoation, absolutely has risen from ultra low to ultra high.
Those who think any USA political policy or leader has any influence on inflation is living in complete La la land.
Similar to Russia invading Ukraine. BTW, Biden had many attempts to send equipment Etc ....stalled considerably by the Rep congress.
Back to my point.
Inflation?
Some of you may recall 2019/20..., there was a global pandemic. global fyi means every corner of the Earth.
That moment of time created problems/ issues for everyone, one way or the other.
Many items in the plethora of supply chains were delayed, Many products to this day are still on allocation. Being out of stock, alternative sources, packaging etc.
Coming out of that , an amazing recovery.
One of the biggest drivers if inflation is food. Again why?
The Russian Ukraine issue has not helped.
most important driver is the price of fuel.
To grow food, fuel is needed to water, plant, harvest & deliver.
The point of people not being able to eat etc. Best fix for that, help clear up the wage difference between the very wealthy & the middle class.
Few if any politicians want to address that.
Inflation a Biden problem? Silliest thing I have read in here in a long time.
The global economy does what it does. One thing Tump or Biden , Dem or Rep can fix is global economics.
Almost forgot. Recent weather disasters, have devastated various global crop systems.
Also mutiple geopolitical issues in the Middle East, causing shipping disruptions.
Aka huge additional costs.
thinking any USA giv can fix these problems is delusional & grandiose thinking.
There are many balls in the air right now.
Ironically the biggest threat right now is global warming/ climate change.
Vast areas of lands are being unusable for farming.
During Covid, many countries threw billions into the economy ( including undrr Trump). that $$$ has created a longer term inflationary effect.
quite predictable actually.
buggest economic problem in USA , and other countries, the massively rich , get richer, on the backs of lower paid employees.
Want to make America great again? Get Apple one of the wealthiest manufacturers in the world, to bring ALL of the Apple products manufacturing etc, back two USA.
BTW, under Biden it was been identified as a national security issue, having many of the microchips bein* built out of country.
The evil Dems have provided grants & initiatives to get microchip manufacturing back to USA.
