RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Emma is doing a great job!Having "issued" patents are great if you are currently (or soon to be) utilizing the patent's technology.
The clock starts for your 20 year exclusivity usage of the technology and then it's open to everyone. For the 20 year period if somebody wants to utilize your technology then they have to pay a licencing fee.
For years Paul pushed this company as a technology based asset but we have "yet" to licence anything.
That does speak volumes.
This company would have been sold for its technology (likely at a loss to most) but not its revenue base because we had none.
Now we are valued for proving the technology is a revenue generating mechanism. This should have been done from day one but the eye was on the sale of the patents even though they were unproven.
Obviously our technology is very relevant but is not currently industry defining. Yet, in my personal opinion eyes "have" to be on us as the team continues to take market share penetration in the provinces.
Larger licensed processors do not like somebody taking their business
I certainly appreciate Emma and the board shifting the company to a consumer products seller because this is what's generating the revenues and proving the technology.
Leave the patents "pending" till they are going to be actually utilized and then the 20 year clock starts.
