AMQ.c Appoints AMEX Exploration CEO to Advisory Committee Copper junior, Abitibi Metals Corp. (Ticker: AMQ.c or AMQFF for US investors), has been making progress at its B26 Polymetallic/Copper Deposit, as exemplified by their latest extension drilling results, such as:
- 1.78% CuEq over 57.2 meters starting at 235.80 meters depth, including 3.1% CuEq over 13.05 meters
- and 1.89% CuEq over 28.45 meters beginning at 133.4 meters depth, including 6.5% CuEq over 5.25 meters.
Overall, AMQ's drilling extended the known mineralized area of the deposit by 75 meters.
The company is well funded, with $17.5 million to finish the remaining 16,500 meters slated for the rest of 2024 and 20,000m slated for 2025. Results from these drilling initiatives are expected be included in a Preliminary Economic Assessment for the project.
AMQ also recently announced that it has appointed Victor Cantore, the CEO of AMEX Exploration and a seasoned capital markets professional specializing in the resource and hi-tech sectors, to its advisory committee.
Cantore has over 30 years of advisory & leadership experience with management roles at public and private companies, with specific experience and success in Quebec. He has organized and structured many equity and debt financings, M&As and partnerships.
AMQ's CEO, Jonathon Deluce, stated, "We are excited to collaborate with Victor on the B26 Deposit as we enter a significant growth phase. With 50,000 meters of drilling fully funded between 2024 & 2025, we are entering a very exciting stage".
