The only issue that many have with shorting is that the downtick rule was removed during the GFC 15 years ago. Id like to see the rule brought back. THat is what the canadian mining rights org is fightin for. But for penny stocks, not a real issue although instos with prime borkers will abuse it sometimes. But its more of an issue for companies that are know to be headin to 0 for good reason.
