Yeah well, one could say capitalism doesn't work either....you have to have a little of both.
Thatcher privatized Thames Water in 1989....Thirty years later the water/wastewater operator is about to go bust and simply abandon the business and leave users in the lurch... the Thames is more polluted than ever and good old taxpayers are going to have to come to the rescue and pick up the pieces. There are things that can be privatized and things that never should be. That's not "socialism" it's common sense.
Does anybody remember who brought in the GST?
