Well, without being wrong on paper, it is. The numbers you put down are for underground mining. For open pit mining, the grades are rarely as high and often don't need to be. Low grade = 0-0.5, Med grade 0.5 to 1.5 and high grade is above 1.5 g/t.

«Worldwide low grade is 1-4 g/t, medium grade is 4-8 g/t and high grade is >8 g/t. Valley is a low grade gold deposit, huge but low grade. »
