  • When investing, you just can't look at the one stock.  Granted Almonty is a rare fined, but you have to also look at the whole market and the global economy.
  • The market since 2009 has been majory driven by debt.  The consumer is all tapped out and the sudden increase in interest rates since last year still have to take effect on all the billions of dollars of mortages (both commercial and residential), and other forms of debt over the next few years.  This is a major problem.  We are in a period of stagflation.
  • There are many economic indicators point to the consumer is all out of money.
  • We will see the unemployment rate rise and followed by interest rates drop. Then the market will go downhill.
  • I already moved many of my investments to bonds for the short term.  That is what major investment houses are doing as well.
  • As for these share byback by companies...what a farce.  Companies buying shares at their peak price.  This permits company executives to sell their shares at top share prices.
  • Central Banks were buying up gold for the longest time and dumping currency. Why do you think they were doing that?
  • The signs are all there, the market is hitting a peak, but the emotional buyers think the market will go higher. They will get schooled!
