RE:The vertue of cash

RE:The vertue of cashTempo1 - Profit is profit, good for you that you decided to crystalize some of your gains. As for your "more balanced amount of shares', It's always a good thing to be comfortable with how we invest our hard earned savings. I'm not balanced yet, but I feel events will get me closer to that decision soon.

Patience is still the word as far as I'm concerned with Bombardier. Unless they start not delivering on their promises, the share price will be on an upward climb for more than the next 3 quarterly results.

That left me with 25% of my portfolio in cash.

I never kept cash before, reinvesting these amounts quickly.

But not this time. I watch the markets, reinvesting opportunistically on weakness of some shares, just before the Q2 results seasons. Patience, Diversification and opportunity are the key words.

The april-may surge of Bombardier  brought me to a very comfortable situation.
