RE:RE:RE:$80 Mill this time round !Companies that have no intention to ever pay dvidends (NVidia is effectively at zero dividends) have an intrinsic value of $0. Financial theory tells us that the NPV of any stock is the discounted cash flow of all future streams of dividends. No divvies or anticipated divvies = no intrinsic value.
I prefer to own companies who have an end game (i. e. payback owners, be acquired, etc.) in mind instead of trading stocks back n' forth in the never-ending game of greater fool's theory.
But, each to their own. Some enjoy day trading, some enjoy derivitives trading. I prefer investing in companies with end games in mind.
