Western Copper and Gold Corporation is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in developing the Casino Project. The Casino Project is a copper-gold mining project in Yukon, Canada. The Casino porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit is located in west central Yukon, in the northwest trending Dawson Range mountains, approximately 300 kilometers (km) northwest of the territorial capital of Whitehorse. The Casino project is located on Crown land administered by the Yukon Government and is within the Selkirk First Nation traditional territory and the Tr’ondek Hwechin traditional territory lies to the north. The Casino Property lies within the Whitehorse Mining District and consists of approximately 1,136 full and partial Quartz Claims and 55 Placer Claims acquired in accordance with the Yukon Quartz Mining Act. The total area covered by Casino Quartz Claims is approximately 21,126.02 hectares (ha). The total area covered by Casino Placer Claims is 490.34 ha.

But, don't forget there is a balance.  We do in fact need them, no doubt.  But they also need metal in ground to mine.  They can't make money without it.  So "they" need us as much as we need them.  The price where our needs balance is TBD but there are plenty of examples out there of a generally accepted ratio of NPV.  

I believe Coffee, while permitted, lacked infrastructure to bring online and the timeline to get there was too long for Newmont.  They miscalculated being able to sell to someone at that time with that timeline.  Many of us did as well for a Casino.  it's been a long haul for sure...but if they continue to put the road in...things get better. A grid connection agreement and progress, while not a requirement for an operational mine, also makes things better. 

All IMHO anyway.
