VW is in the starting blocks! Hopefully also with regard to Nano One Materials!
“It takes out a huge amount of complexity and realises maximum cost benefits through scaling while, at the same time, offering full flexibility in terms of cell chemistry and performance classes,” says Schmall. “The initial test results show this: We will be technological leaders in terms of range, charging performance and safety.”

The new battery type can be used "for the entire range of battery applications." On the vehicle side, this means both battery-electric cars and hybrid vehicles, but also different cell chemistries. Gotion mentions "LFP, LMFP and NCM chemistry systems." 5C means that the battery can be charged with five times its energy content - for a 50 kWh battery, this would correspond to a maximum charging power of 250 kW.

Exciting to be involved in a new era for Slovakia “We are committed to providing the best battery solutions for clean energy and e-mobility,” adds InoBat CEO Marian Boek. “GIB’s urany factory will be among the largest and most innovative of its kind in the world. The urany Battery Hub will become a showcase for strategic eco-parks and a hub for research and development. “
