Upgrade!!!

Upgrade!!!So I just got a note from the lovely folks at Rogers. They advised that they had completed upgrades to the neighbourhood infrastructure and at no extra charge I would now be receiving a boost to my upload speeds. Peachy. Curious guy that I am I turned off the ceiling mounted AP's just leaving the router online to see what the big upgrade provided. For perspective I have a 500/30 plan. I used a wifi6 iPad. I was sitting in my living room two floors below the router. I used Speedtest. I pulled 602/139. Pretty good.

What I find quite entertaining is I have talked to Andy a couple of times. In both conversations he insisted that by putting your hand in front of a router wifi speeds on the ole single channel would plummet. I was two floors with 3/4" plywood and 3/4" hardwood and drywall away from the router. Andy must have huge hands.
