Yes, you state the obvious once again. No one suggested that they are trading very richly right now. Yes, perhaps one day their valuation will come in. On that day, you will exclaim, "see I told you so" , where did it get you, in the mean time traders/investors will have enjoyed gains in the 1-2000 percent range. To be fair, there will be those who can not recognize this drop off coming and yes they will lose, just like with any other companies stock.

With regards to the dot com bubble, as I am sure you are aware but failed to allude to, there were a plethora of companies trading with very rich multiples but had no earings, some no revenues. IPO's obtained stratospheric levels because they had a .com name. This was wide spread, today's very richly trading companies have very substantial earnings and more importantly they are growing them.

I will refrain from any negative rhetoric about your inability to apply theory to real time markets, I think you already know my thoughts to this extent. Good luck to you just the same.
