The Pro Padel League (PPL) kicked off its 2024 season with exhilarating on-court action featuring the world’s top players, sparking a strong surge in audience engagement during its opening events held at the ULTRA CLUB in Miami.
During the PPL’s initial two events from April 2nd to April 7th and April 9th to 14th, the league captivated viewers, garnering nearly 1.6 million streams on the PPL YouTube channel, and accumulating an impressive total watch time of just under 500,000 hours.
This surge in engagement marks a monumental growth compared to the league’s performance in 2023, showcasing a staggering 25-fold increase in total YouTube watch time for the opening two events, surpassing the entirety of the 2023 season.
In the opening events of the 2024 PPL season, the Miami Padel Club captured the first event of the year, followed by the Los Angeles BEAT emerging victorious in the league’s second event.
