RE:RE:New Press Release - Nickel Creek Platinum Announces Results of 2024 Annual General and Special MeetingThe 200:1 is extreme end of the range of consolidation possibilities. Juniors tend towards the range of about 30 to 50 million shares outstanding after any consolidation. I would say a 1:10 or a 1:20 would be plenty enough to get us into the "proper" shares outstanding range.
Anything beyond a 1:40 would decrease the outstanding share count so much as it would defeat one of their stated goals of increased liquidity and interest in the shares.
As far as the little guy getting dutched by a consolidation, the ones who are actually getting the short end of the stick are all those weak hands who have been selling near a penny USD to exit their position. It allows strong hands and newer investors to get in and reap the benefits of these previous-sharholders' capital. Very silly to spend your time and resources to help build a mining project and then to jump ship near the end zone at rock bottom prices. Oh well, it is a zero sum game, one person's loss ends up being another person's gain.
