The Northvolt CEO had to have his comments about not contunuing forward with the Quebec, Canada build in particular walked back, although not entirely.
Northvolt representatives have commenced a review of the Germany based Giga scale battery manufacturing facility and the Quebec, Canada based buildout.
Something about Northvolt having lost 1 Billion Dollars and the German automaker having cancelled it's agreement with Northvolt for battery cells supply has the folks over at Northvolt spooked.
Also, ramping up production to the previously suggested capacity at Northvolt's first build is proving troublesome and Northvolt simply is not meeting production targets
It's a disaster in the making.
What does this have to do with NanoXplore?
Nothing, i.e. unless NanoXplore was counting on Northvolt sending some battery material component manufacturing offtake agreement type business the company's way; and at this stage, I somehow find that unlikely.
Alas, still nothing additional from Soroush Nazarpour & Co., in terms of a bone with some serious amount of meat affixed to it being tossed out here for we NanoXplore "minority" equities investors.
I could be absolutely wrong here. Never the less, we shouldn't expect anything from NanoXplore before the end of the year; and even then, it could be something not pleasing.
