Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

The Federal Reserve

Not long ago projected the US unemployment rate would reach 4% by years end. Today it is already 4.1% and the Sahm number has reached 0.43% which is very close to the trigger rate of 0.5%. The unemployment spikes significantly once we surpass the 0.5% mark but I would say it's already baked in the cake.

The Fed should start to think about rate cuts before it's too late.
