The property has three oil pools, both producing under Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) schemes, that are fully delineated by vertical wells and defined by three-dimensional (3D) seismic. Hemisphere Energy insiders accumulate ahead of special dividend

Enhanced oil recovery focused Hemisphere Energy Corp.’s first-quarter production was 3,133 barrels of oil equivalent. Hemisphere will pay a special dividend of 3 cents per share on July 26 to shareholders of record on July 12. The dividend is in addition to the quarterly dividend of $0.025 per share paid in June. Last month, director Gregg Vernon bought 79,800 shares at an average price of $1.70. Five insiders also accumulated a total of 1,256,400 shares via options with an average exercise price of 95 cents.
