Pandora`s interest in YFIs`3 Patent applications?I would be interested in knowing who Pandora believes was all involved in what YFI refers to as customer driven extensive real-world research and development leading to the creation in the new patent application titled "Method and Apparatus for in-band Multi-channel Determination and Utilization."? Was it limited to just Eric Smith, and Andrew Skafel? Or could prospective customers have also played a lead role in affecting the designs? On top of all this what are the odds of everyone involved; directly and nondirectly, of participating in such a product without first assuring they are not only patentable, but warranted.?
"This invention, and its PATENTABLE components, represent the command and control mechanisms necessary to realize the power of Spectrum Slicing and wireless quality of service."
One would assume that a myriad of professional entities have more incentives and reasons to have all the bases covered in his respect. However, I may be wrong and they may indeed be sitting in the background waiting for Pandoras findings before moving ahead or not.
Personally, I am still waiting to hear from Pandora whether his research has determined there is and val9dity behind CableLabs performance claims of Dual Channel WiFi. We must be cautious not to get ahead of ourselves.
