The Company’s flagship asset is its 100% owned Dublin Gulch property, which hosts the Eagle, Olive and Raven gold deposits along with numerous targets along the Potato Hills Trend including Nugget, Lynx and Rex Peso. Dublin Gulch is situated in the central Yukon, Canada, approximately 375 kilometers (km) north of the capital city of Whitehorse. It also holds a suite of other development and exploration properties in the Yukon, including Brewery Creek, Clear Creek, Gold Dome and Grew Creek. The Eagle West target area lies as close as 500 meters northwest of the main Eagle Gold Deposit and hosts the exposures of the granodiorite. The Raven target is located at the contact zone at the extreme southeastern portion of the Nugget Stock. The Brewery Creek Project is a past producing heap leach gold mining operation.

RE:new article

RE:new articleWhile everyone expects a statement from VG what can they really say, there are just a lot of questions without answers.

What was the cause of the slide?

What is the extent of environmental damage?

Will the HLP be able to be repaired or will it have  to be replaced with a new pad ?

What is the cost of mitigating all damages ?

How long will this all take?

About the only thing that is known is that without any income, limited cash, and facing lawsuits, fines and cash burn, on paper VG is facing bankruptcy.

I suspect that the reason VG defaulted on their loan payment was to buy time until answers to these questions are know.

It would seem that VG will need to raise a substantial amount of financing if there is a way to survive this catastrophe.

I would think that odds are not in their favor at this point, but who knows. JMO
