Kind of a scary thought that the government is taking charge if the relaying of recent water sample reports to the public is any example of their competence between agencies.
I think if the liner is damaged especially in the lower area, Rethinking the entire HLP will be the liklihood, which could take many months, as the transfer of cyanide saturated ore could be tricky.
Where would you safely store 90 million tonnes of hazardous ore that wont complicate enviromental concerns.
My thoughts are that the safest place to get that 2 million tonnes of uncontained ore is back in the HLP, especially with rain coming, and the best thing for VG is if they could somehow get permission from the government to the pour gold already sitting in the pregnant leach, as the mine does not have to be in operation to pour gold bars.
