Plant Details:
- Designed to process 15,000 mcf/day of raw gas.
- Annual output capacity of approximately 22,000 mcf of 99.9999% helium.
- Engineered for a 25-year lifespan with wells expected to be operational for at least nine years.
- Fully automated and self-powered, aiming for low operating expenses and quick positive cash flow.
Environmental and Financial Benefits:
- Will benefit from carbon credits under Alberta’s Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction System.
- Carbon credits can provide a significant additional cash flow stream.
- Produces enough fuel gas to power the plant and up to 22 million pounds of commercial carbon dioxide annually.
Management and Oversight:
- Engaged Progress Through Technology (PTT) for a six-month contract to enhance and stabilize production.
- CEO Andrew Davidson expressed satisfaction with the stable production rate and the plant’s progression towards full capacity.
